Privacy Policy
Your text content never leaves your device. We engineered TextToolsStudio to process everything locally.
Client-Side Processing
Core to our design is total privacy. When you paste text into our Word Counter, Case Converter, or any other utility, the logic runs entirely via JavaScript in your own web browser. Your device does the work, not our servers.
We do not have backend databases that receive or store your input. This means whether you are processing a personal letter, a sensitive password reset, or proprietary source code, it remains 100% private and stays exclusively on your machine.
No Data Retention
Since we do not collect your text input, we have nothing to retain. Once you close your browser tab or clear the input fields, that data is gone. We do not maintain any logs of the content you manipulate using our tools.
We believe that the best way to keep your data safe is to never touch it in the first place.
Analytics and Cookies
We use lightweight, privacy-focused analytics to count total visitor numbers and popular pages. This helps us understand which tools are most useful so we can improve them. However, this data is anonymized and doesn't track individual user behavior or fingerprint your device.
We do not use tracking cookies for targeted advertising purposes. You can browse and use every tool on TextToolsStudio completely anonymously without being 'followed' around the web.
Local Storage
Some tools may use your browser's 'Local Storage' to remember your preferences (like Dark Mode or your last used WPM speed). This information is stored only on your device and is never synchronized with any external server. You can clear this anytime by clearing your browser cache.
GDPR and CCPA Compliance
TextToolsStudio is designed with 'Privacy by Design' principles that align with global regulations like GDPR and CCPA. Because we do not collect personal data (PII) from our users, many of the traditional data processing requirements are naturally met by our architecture.
You have the right to use our services without fear of data exploitation. Our commitment is to provide a utility that respects your digital boundaries.
External Links
Our site may link to other helpful resources or tools. Once you click a link and leave TextToolsStudio, those external sites are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies if you have concerns about how they handle data.
Changes to this Policy
If we ever introduce a feature that requires server-side processing (such as a cloud-based collaboration tool), we will clearly label it and explicitly ask for your permission before any data is sent. Our core text utilities will always remain 100% client-side.
