Privacy Policy

Core to our design is total privacy. When you paste text into our Word Counter, Case Converter, or any other utility, the logic runs entirely via JavaScript in your own web browser. Your device does the work, not our servers.

We do not have backend databases that receive or store your input. This means whether you are processing a personal letter, a sensitive password reset, or proprietary source code, it remains 100% private and stays exclusively on your machine.

Since we do not collect your text input, we have nothing to retain. Once you close your browser tab or clear the input fields, that data is gone. We do not maintain any logs of the content you manipulate using our tools.

We believe that the best way to keep your data safe is to never touch it in the first place.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and roughly where traffic comes from. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects usage data such as your device type, browser, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This data is processed by Google on our behalf; you can learn more at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can block analytics entirely with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or any standard cookie or tracker blocker.

We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by our hosting company. These work differently from Google Analytics: they set no cookies and store no identifier on your device. Vercel Analytics counts page views and referrers using a hashed, daily-rotating value that cannot be traced back to you or used to follow you between sites. Speed Insights measures how quickly pages actually loaded for real visitors — timings such as how long the largest image took to appear — so we can find and fix slow pages.

Neither Vercel service can identify you, build a profile, or share data with advertisers. You can read how they handle data at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. Because they are cookieless and collect no personal identifiers, they run for every visitor; the cookie-based services described above are subject to your consent choice.

Your text input is never part of any analytics, from any provider. What you paste into our tools is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to us, to Google, or to Vercel — analytics only covers page-level usage of the site itself.

To keep TextToolsStudio free, we may display advertising served by third-party partners such as Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies (including Google's advertising cookies) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show you relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

Advertising cookies are entirely separate from your tool usage: the text you paste into our tools is processed locally in your browser and is never visible to us or to any advertising partner.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will see a consent prompt the first time you arrive. It asks whether you agree to cookies used for advertising and analytics. Nothing optional is set until you make a choice, and declining does not limit any tool on this site — every tool works exactly the same either way, because none of them need cookies to function.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Clearing this site's cookies in your browser makes the prompt appear again, and the consent tool itself provides controls to review each purpose individually. Withdrawing consent stops future advertising and analytics cookies; any already stored are removed when you clear site data.

Outside those regions we still honour browser-level signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track where our providers support them, and the opt-out links in the Advertising section above work worldwide regardless of where you are.

Strictly necessary: none. This site sets no cookie that is required for it to work. Your theme preference (light or dark) is kept in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and never leaves your device.

Analytics: Google Analytics sets cookies beginning with _ga to count visits and measure which pages are useful. These are only set where permitted by your consent choice. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights set no cookies at all.

Advertising: Google AdSense and its partners may set advertising cookies to limit how often you see an ad, to measure ad performance, and — only if you consent — to personalise which ads you see. The contact page is the one place on this site where you can send us personal information, and it only happens if you choose to. When you submit the form we receive the name, email address and message you typed. We use them for a single purpose: to read your message and reply to it.

The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form service that passes the submission to our inbox. Your details are handled by that service in transit and are subject to their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy. We do not add your address to a mailing list, we do not sell or share it, and we do not use it for advertising.

If you would like us to delete a message you sent, reply to our response or write to us again and ask — we will remove it from our inbox. No account is created and nothing about your contact message is linked to your use of the tools.

Some tools may use your browser's 'Local Storage' to remember your preferences (like Dark Mode or your last used WPM speed). This information is stored only on your device and is never synchronized with any external server. You can clear this anytime by clearing your browser cache.

TextToolsStudio is designed with privacy-by-design principles that align with regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA. The tools themselves collect no personal data at all — text is processed in your browser and never reaches us. The only personal data we ever hold is what you deliberately send through the contact form, described above.

You have the right to use our services without fear of data exploitation. Our commitment is to provide a utility that respects your digital boundaries.

Our site may link to other helpful resources or tools. Once you click a link and leave TextToolsStudio, those external sites are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies if you have concerns about how they handle data.

We may update this policy as the site changes — for example when we add a tool, change an analytics or advertising provider, or respond to new regulation. The date shown at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision, so you can tell at a glance whether anything has moved since you last read it.

Material changes that affect how your data is handled will be reflected here before they take effect, and where consent is required you will be asked again rather than carried over on an old choice.

If we ever introduce a feature that requires server-side processing, we will clearly label it and explicitly ask for your permission before any data is sent. Our core text utilities will always remain fully client-side.
