What is the AI Words Remover?
Large language models have habits. They open paragraphs with 'In today's fast-paced world', hedge with 'It's important to note that', reach for 'leverage' when 'use' would do, and stitch sentences together with 'Furthermore' and 'Moreover'. None of it is wrong, exactly — it is just flat, and readers notice.
This tool matches those patterns against a dictionary of the phrases LLMs overuse and rewrites them into plainer English. Empty openers are deleted outright, inflated words are swapped for shorter ones, and stock transitions are softened. It also tidies the punctuation habits that come with AI drafts, like long runs of em-dashes and doubled spaces.
Every replacement is listed underneath the output, showing the original phrase, what it became, and how many times it appeared. Nothing is hidden from you, so you can judge each edit rather than trusting a black box.
Why is it Useful?
Editing is the slow part of using AI to draft. The model produces something structurally fine but tonally generic, and cleaning it up by hand means hunting the same twenty phrases every time. Doing that pass automatically leaves you free to spend your attention on the argument instead of the vocabulary.
Shorter is usually better, too. Removing 'It's important to note that' and 'When it comes to' typically trims five to ten per cent of the word count without losing a single idea — the counters above the output show exactly how much came off.
This is an editing tool, not a disguise. It will not help text evade AI-detection software, and we make no such claim: detectors are unreliable in both directions, and passing off generated work as your own where that matters — coursework especially — is your responsibility, not something a find-and-replace can settle. What it does do is make a draft read better.

Paste your draft into the left-hand box. The cleaned version appears on the right immediately, updating as you type.
Use the four checkboxes to control how aggressive the pass is. Turn off 'Simplify jargon' if a word like 'robust' is genuine terminology in your field, or turn off 'Fix transitions' if you want the connective tissue left alone.
Read the edit list before you copy. The tool matches patterns, not meaning, so an occasional swap will not suit your sentence — the list makes those easy to spot and undo by editing the output directly.
