Case Converter

The Case Converter changes the capitalization of your text without retyping it. Paste your content, click one of five buttons, and copy the result: UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case (first letter of every word capitalized), Sentence case (capital letters only at the start of sentences), and aLtErNaTiNg case for stylized social posts.

The most common rescue mission is the caps-lock accident — a paragraph typed in all capitals that would otherwise need retyping. Sentence case fixes it in one click, restoring capitals after each period, question mark, and exclamation point.

Word and character counts are shown alongside the result, and copy and download buttons move the converted text wherever it needs to go. Nothing you paste leaves your browser.

Different contexts demand different casing, and doing it by hand doesn't scale. A hundred product names that arrived in ALL CAPS from a supplier's spreadsheet can be converted to Title Case in seconds instead of an afternoon.

Writers use Title Case for headlines and email subject lines to match publication style. Developers and data folks use lowercase to normalize values before comparing or importing them, since 'Email@Example.com' and 'email@example.com' won't match as raw strings.

Note that Title Case here capitalizes every word — including short words like 'and' or 'the'. Style guides such as AP or Chicago lowercase those small words, so give headlines a quick review if you follow a strict guide.
